Procapitalism

Procapitalism is a minor political party, registered with the Electoral Commission in Northern Ireland. The party espouses a form of laissez faire capitalism based on the works of Ayn Rand[1].

To date the party has only contested one seat in the Northern Ireland Assembly election, 2007. The candidate, party leader Charles Smyth, stood in South Belfast and polled 22 first preference votes or under 0.1% of the constituency poll.
