Shelton Benjamin (born July 9, 1975) is an American professional wrestler and former amateur wrestler signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) working on its ECW brand.

Benjamin has an amateur wrestling background, including wrestling in high school and at the University of Minnesota. After spending time in Ohio Valley Wrestling, WWE moved him to the SmackDown! brand. During his tenure with the company, he has won the WWE Intercontinental Championship three times, and he has held the WWE Tag Team Championship and OVW Southern Tag Team Championship two and four times, respectively.

Benjamin has also acted as an assistant coach in amateur wrestling. He has an extensive interest in video games, winning the WWE THQ Superstar Challenge four times before retiring from the contest.(more...)
