[edit] Automated teller machine

Holy Crykey! That's ALOT of references! And I thought I had nothing better to do. Great job, keep it up! - CobaltBlueTony 16:42, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Unencyclopedic Diebold articles

I've proposed some of your articles dealing with Diebold product lines for deletion. I feel strongly that they are unencyclopedic; I care about keeping Wikipedia useful, and I think that these articles are a step in the direction of "a collection of random information" (a la WP:NOT, WP:5P). If there is special significance to these product lines (to someone not as intimately involved in the industry as you appear to be) they should stay, but the articles appear to be mere listings of products and technical data. - PatrickFisher 00:22, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Disambiguation Talk Request

This is a form message being sent to all WikiProject Disambiguation participants. I recently left a proposed banner idea on the WikiProject Disambiguation talk page and I would appreciate any input you could provide. Before it can be approved or denied, I would prefer a lot of feedback from multiple participants in the project. So if you have the time please join in the discussion to help improve the WikiProject. Keep up the good work in link repair and thanks for your time. Nehrams2020 22:11, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Speech synthesis up for FAR

Hi there,

You're listed in the edit history of this article. I wonder whether you're able to help bring it up to FA standard again? Please see WP:FAR#Speech_synthesis.

[edit] Thematic vowel

Hi,

It's not a huge deal, but I'd ask that you be careful when disambiguating links — linking to the wrong page is generally worse than linking to a disambiguation page. (I bring this up because of your recent edit at Subjunctive mood, where you mistakenly disambiguated Thematic to Theme (linguistics), which is about a completely different topic. The correct topic is Thematic vowel/Vowel stem.)

Again, not a big deal, but you might want to keep it in mind. :-)

[edit] Place name redirects

Hi, I noticed that you've redirected Rhostyllen to Wrexham, along with a number of others. I'm not sure that this is really a good idea, especially when redirecting to a county article (eg. Rhodes Minnis to Kent) as it doesn't really make sense to be directed to an article on a completely different topic, just because it happens to be in vaguely the same geographical area. I rather agree with User:Ruakh above that no redirect would be better than a misleading one. If the redlink is left, then it's easier for another editor (especially a new editor) to create a new article at the redlink in the future, rather than having to break the redirect first. Can I add my support to DWaterson's request? I've just started on Cumbria's villages to discover you have created similar redirects that make it appear that an article exists when it merely points to the county or district - not very helpful to enquirers or other editors.
