[edit] categorization

Hi -- I proposed to merge the categories Category:Awards, Category:Prizes together; and further to merge Category:Award winners, Category:Prize winners, and Category:Recipients of formal honors. Discussion at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2007 January 9#Prize winners and Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2007 January 9#Prizes. I know there are technical distinctions (prizes usually used for awards with money, but occasionally just for money rewards), but as a category, the distinctions seem hard to maintain and not very useful. --lquilter 15:53, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
