Did You Know An entry from Prince Kitashirakawa Nagahisa appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know? column on 13 December 2006.
Wikipedia

"However, on 14 September 1940, Captain Prince Kitashirakawa died in an airplane crash while on duty in Inner Mongolia, thus becoming the second member of the Imperial Family killed in World War II (the first being Captain Prince Fushimi Hiroyoshi in 1937)" 1937? Second World War? Excuse me? The Second World War is recognised by the majority of people to have started in 1939. The Wikipedia article for World War II lists the beginning of the war as 1939. While a few people do maintain that the Second World War began with the Manchurian crisis, most do not. Editing to correct this. --Lord Akria 20:14, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
