Pritchattsbury, also known as the Pritchattsbury Festival, is a free music festival that takes place at Pritchatts Park, within the Edgbaston campus of The University of Birmingham. Unlike the younger Vale Festival Pritchattsbury is organised by the Pritchatts Park Residence Association, a group of students who look after the interests of the local residents. [1]
The 2008 event took place on June 7. Over 4000 people attended, with this year's headliners The Holloways. Other performers included The Mitchell Brothers, Envy & Other Sins and The Anomolies. [2] This year also included a second stage, 'The Transmission Tent'.

Over the years the free festival has got larger, going from just an event for residents' to inviting other halls and the local community.
