Prince Adel bin Mohammad bin Faisal (I) El-Hashemite

His Royal Highness Prince Adel bin Prince Mohammad bin King Faisal (I) bin El-Sharif Hussein El-Hashemite is the grandson of King Faisal I, the First Bin El-Sharif el-Hussein, who was the Chief in Command of the Arab Revolt against the Ottoman Empire who became the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Great Syria and then the founding King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Iraq between 1921 and 1933. He is reportedly a direct descendent of Muhammad via El-Imam el-Hassan Bin Ali Bin Abi Talib.
Prince Adel is the eldest child of Prince Mohammad bin King Faisal (I) Bin El-Sharif Hussein El-Hashemite. Born in Kuwait on January 7 1961, he has two brothers (Prince Adnan and Prince Ahmed) and one sister (Princess Nisreen).
In 1986, Prince Adel graduated with a PhD in Nuclear Chemistry from University College London, becoming perhaps the first prince to hold a doctorate in a specialized science[citation needed]. It is reported that his scientific research resulted in products beneficial in medicine and industry[citation needed]. He also has a Masters degree in International Commercial Law and has been accepted as International Judge.[citation needed]

Prince Adel is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Academy of Science International Trust, who developed undergraduate and postgraduate educational programmes in conjunction with British universities and some selected American universities for the benefit of students from developing countries, who managed to get the majority of third world qualifications to be accredited and accepted by British universities, who did organize the exchange educational programmes between the British universities and universities in developing countries, who did organize training programmes for third world candidates to be trained at British industrial institutions, and developed a special masters degree programme for medical doctors, scientists and tutors.[citation needed]
