[edit] Summary

Multi-Function Display (MFD) in the Toyota Prius (2005 model).

The MFD provides an energy monitor, displaying how the energy is flowing to/from the engine, battery, and from the regenerative braking. The display also indicates the charge level of the battery. In this instance, the battery is low and being recharged from the internal combustion engine.

The buttons along the sides of the display indicate that this Prius has the GPS navigation option.
