[edit] Trimmed

I removed the in depth introduction, because it wasn't NPOV and said the same thing as the synopsis, only longer. Manhatten Project 2000 06:17, 7 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Status

The Status section seems very POV, speculative, and poorly written. I think the entire section should be removed, except for a couple sentences regarding the cancellation of the series. Any other thoughts on this? ReMarkAble 00:23, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

What was once the status section (now merged by me into the Manga section) I think should be kept because it gives information as to what ended up happening to the series. However, I do see your point; perhaps we could do as you suggested and just keep the intro and cut the three possible points on the basis of Wikipedia:Verifiability?--Juhachi 10:51, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

Yeah. The conjectures should go. Manhatten Project 2000 23:36, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Character list

The character list is pretty long, how about putting it on a separate page like List of Pretty Face characters, and if needed keeping just a bit of info on the main characters in this article? Ninja neko 19:48, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

This article is only about 13K in length; if the characters were split, there would not be much else on this article.-- 21:48, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

However, the character descriptions do contain spoilers. I think a basic description of each character with defining personality traits should be enough. BenoitRen 18:35, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, so that means we are supposed to write a clear, concise, and complete account of a given subject, which means, yes, spoilers are unavoidable in fiction articles. Most people already know that wikipedia contains spoilers, so it's at their own risk to read articles on fiction they themselves have not read. There was a lengthy debate at WP:SPOILER on this very thing, though it could still be going on there.-- 20:53, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
Then why isn't there a plot/story summary? And surely the character descriptions should be preempted by a spoiler tag. BenoitRen 23:41, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
An entire story summary is not accepted on Wikipedia. Many "Plot of..." articles were recently deleted, and if the plot is too long on this article, then it's just going to be that much more worse on the reader who has to skim through it all; an overall plot summary is generally more accepted, especially for a lengthy series such as this one with about 50 chapters. And bear well in mind, if you add in a spoiler tag, someone probably will come around to remove it before long; this is the reason why you don't see the spoiler tags used very much anymore in fiction articles.-- 23:58, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dr Manabe

It's not the best idea to call Dr Manabe "John". The original says "Juun". Unless it is John in the Viz translation, it doesn't seem right to assume. (Also posted as edit summary) Luigi6138 03:36, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
