[edit] Vice Presidents/Senate Presidents comparison
Please note that though the 12th Amendment was ratified during the Jefferson administration, Washington was an independent supported by Federalists and serving alongside a Federalist Vice President, and Aaron Burr, Jefferson's original Vice President, was of Jefferson's party, so only during the Adams administration was there an opposition VP. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.62.200.96 (talk)
