There is currently a rather savage debate about the taxonomic status of this form going on in the journal Animal Conservation. Please can someone digest this and dump it in the article? Thanks. Dysmorodrepanis 21:06, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 6 inches?

I think any Zapus could jump more than six inches--those things bounce around like superballs when you walk through their habitat! Perhaps the author meant "six feet." —The preceding unsigned comment was added by TeamZissou (talk • contribs) 01:58, 4 April 2007 (UTC).
