The Prevost's Ground-sparrow (Melozone biarcuata) is a species of bird in the Emberizidae family. It is found in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, and heavily degraded former forest.
