Presto Casting Company was founded in 1965 by Mel Borovay, Jim Herman, and Earl Brocious. These three gentlemen originally met and worked together at another Phoenix based aerospace foundry.
Presto Casting Company was a US manufacturer of precision magnesium and aluminum castings for the aerospace industry. They pioneered the fast development of light metal precision cast aerospace components. Presto Casting Company eventually became a division of Haley Industries in June 1984, and both are now divisions of Canada's Magellan Aerospace Corporation.
