The Conceptual plan of President University was formulated by Mr. S.D. Darmono, the President of PT Jababeka Tbk. as the original inceptor of President University.
The Founders who are behind President University have laid the foundation and groundwork to ensure that President University will develop into a great institution of learning for students from all part of the world to acquire knowledge and develop into useful and responsible citizens and future leaders.
President University is located in Jababeka Education Park in Kota Jababeka, surrounded by Jababeka Industrial Estate with more than 1,235 national as well as multinational companies such as Mulia, Unilever, Samsung, Mattel, ICI Paint, and other.

As an International University, not only are the classes in English, but President University is equipped with:
- Global Curriculum
- President University applies international standards curriculum which was formed and developed by world-class academics. This international curriculum ensures the international quality education for all students at President University.
- English Speaking Environment
- All courses, including the state mandatory courses, are conducted in English. Student will speak, write, learn and think in English, the Global Language of Today.
- Student Extra Cullicular Activities
- President University provides a wide range of facilities to support student activities such as President Executive Club, Jababeka Golf and Country Club, an International Standard golf course, driving range, Olympc-sized swimming pool, tennis court, soccer field, basketball court and many cultural activity facilities, such as for dance and music. Most of the activities within campus are from students. Through the establishment of student activities, students learn how to develop skills and leadership qualities.
- Multinational Comuunity
- Students from all over Indonesia and the world such as China, Vietnam, Korea, Laos, gather together in President University to study. This Multi-Cultural environment develops graduates to be confident, smart, creative, sociable and adaptable global employees and enterpreneurs.
- Student Housing
- President University provides student housing for all first year students.

- Waseda University (Japan): Scholarship for President University graduates to take Master Degree in Information technology.
- William Angliss Institute of TAFE, Australia. Specialist Centre for Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts.
- Cooperation with PT. Microsoft Indonesia, PT. Indosat M2 and Intel Corporation to establish UKM Empowerment Center.
