Predrag "Pedj" Bojic (born April 9, 1984) is a Serbian-Australian footballer currently playing for the Sutherland Sharks in Australia's New South Wales Premier League competition.
He can play anywhere down the right-hand side of the field and has represented his country at the Under-17's World Youth cup. He was part of The Cobblers' promotion season of 2005-06.
[edit] Early career
Bojic's professional career began at Australian club Parramatta Power in the 2000-01 season, where he stayed for two years but never really did break into the first team (here is a match report for a game in which Bojic played). He went to Sydney Olympic but never properly settled, and moved to Northampton the following season on a free transfer after a successful trial.
[edit] Northampton career
Bojic joined the Cobblers at the start of the 2004-05 season (in the no.20 shirt), when he became an instant first team player and crowd favorite, making a number of first-team appearances. Thanks to him, Northampton reached the play-off semi-finals, where they were beaten by Southend. Next season, however, he and the club had more luck. He made 23 starts and 18 substitute appearances and scored four league goals as the club finished second in the league and won promotion. In the 06-07 season, Bojic found the step up to the Coca-Cola League One good, making 30 first team appearances. Bojic suffered a hernia injury in January 2007 which kept the fans favourite out for 2 to 4 months which led to the end of his Northampton Town career.
