Predominance diagram

A predominance diagram shows the predominance species that is present in solution at a given pH.
A predominance diagram for a weak acid or weak base will include a crossover pH which is the pKa.

It is often used in corrosion to understanding when a particular type of ion/metal/etc will be more favourable to form under a certain pH and E(V) condition(s)
