[edit] List of Prairie School architects
In March 2008 the list of Prairie School architects was removed from the article. This seems to have been done by someone who did not sign his/her name, without discussion. Further, it appears that the address from which that action was taken was later banned from Wikipedia.
Should we go ahead and put list of Prairie School architects back into the article?Chesterct (talk) 23:01, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

- Redoing someone else's deletions of, lists for example, should be done mindfully. The person who first added the list did so for a reason as did the editor who removed it. Wikipedians break down (at least in this analysis) into two groups, inclusionists and deletionists. You can probably be both, but that might not be considered good mental health by some experts in tha field. Carptrash (talk) 17:27, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Bauhaus Inspiration
On the wikipedia page about Frank Lloyd Wright it says that he designed the Prairie Houses between 1900 and 1917, two years before the Bauhaus school was completed. How could he get inspired by something that hasn’t existed yet?

- As I understand it most of the design principles for the school were being used throughout Germany well before the school was founded itself. IvoShandor 07:08, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Latest image
I noticed someone added an image of the Charles L. Manson House, a Frank Lloyd Wright work. I removed it because, well to be frank, that was a 1938 house, well past Wright's Prairie School period. Just by looking at I would say it was more influenced by Wright's Usonian aesthetic than Prairie style but if you can provide a source that says it's Prairie by all means readd it, but it won't be in there unless a source is provided. [edit] Philip Maher
Is Philip Maher an associated architect of the prairie school? If so, his name link seems to point to the wrong article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.244.44.235 (talk) 14:09, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Praire Architects?
Just wondering - are any of these projects examples of "Praire School" architecture? --Munchkinguy (talk) 20:36, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
