[edit] Knights?

The article discusses the role of knights in the selection of the prefects. There were men in the Roman Empire who held positions similar to that of a medieval knight, but there were no 'knights' in the usual sense of the word. A better word would be 'equites'. Galanskov 06:07, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
