Powergrind is a cross breed of Powerviolence and classic grind usually played at incredible speed down to slow halftime beats and including detuned, distorted guitar. Two or more vocalists or vocal styles are often employed, contrasting between high pitched screams, deep and muffled shouts, and raw, distorted growls and grind vocals.
