Image is claimed to be CC-ASA but there is a copyright symbol on the face of the image itself that is not obviously linked to the uploader — Dave (Talk | contribs) 01:15, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

This is a commons image. --B (talk) 22:11, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

Image is a film screenshot and cannot be licensed under the GFDL –Dream out loud (talk) 03:11, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

Some time ago (The date is on the image page, I think) I tracked down the copyright owner of that image and obtained permission to use it. I probably have the emails that we traded somewhere, but really do not have the interst in finding them. This was done in 2004 when the copyright templates and general situation was different. I did the best I could at that time. I find it interesting that all the challenges to copyrighted images that I've posted have come from wikipedians rather than copyright owners. I posted many, many EP covers, for example, most of which have been removed over the years - mostly for "esthetic" reasons. I no longer feel vested in spending the time to do this sort of work when someone else just comes along and removes it. I feel (opinion) that this image under discussion is both legally, morally and artistically appropriate for the article. Thanks for alerting me to this discussion. Resolved.

It's from BBC (as my understanding), it can't be under CC OsamaK (talk) 17:29, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

There is nothing to suggest it is owned by the BBC, it is more likely the user took it from the top of the Triangle as that is where the view is from. Please withdraw dipute unless proof can be provided of the copyright of the image as it is part of a current WP:FAC and this serves no purpose except to disrupt to the process. and-rewtalk 17:39, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
