ePostmarks, Inc. is currently the only company to have an agreement with the USPS to use a new technology, the Electronic Postmark (a trademarked variation of the digital postmark that has been adopted by the UPU. Despite ePostmarks, Inc. having trademarked "postal protected email", the importance of referencing the "ePostmark" as a co-branded technology by ePostmarks, Inc. and the USPS in this entry is that it is a fundamental example of "postal protected email".
