• A post oak is a small tree (used for making fence posts, hence the name) and a post oak bluff is a small bet. Dave6 04:23, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

A major edit in June 2007 by 208... changed the definition to something that I would call a "free card" bet. I reverted it entirely. --LDC 23:17, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
