Talk:Post-War France
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This article should only cover the period from 1944 to 1946, presently it goes much further.--CarabinieriTTaallkk 20:40, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
Hi Carabinieri - as it's a translation of a French wikipedia article ("France d'après guerre") it should be renamed "Post War France". I discovered it under French articles needing translating, and have continued the translation from the end of the first paragraph. I hope to finish it soon, but will need some help with formatting etc. DEW1981.
The thing is, this a part of a series of articles, a list of which you'll see on the template on the right-hand side of the article. The section about the Fourth Republic, e.g., should be in the article French Fourth Republic.--CarabinieriTTaallkk 15:30, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
This article is not about military history.--CarabinieriTTaallkk 09:13, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
- yes postwar era is actually 1944-1946 but this is covered on the provisional government article. post war is a french perspective as an endless post war. it is supposed to never ends until an hypothetical next war (with the germans?). i believe this is WWII trauma, i do not share.
