Posterior parietal cortex

The posterior parietal cortex is a portion of the parietal lobe which manipulates mental images, and integrates sensory and motor portions of the brain. It is involved in formation of plans.[1]

It consists of Brodmann area 5 and Brodmann area 7.[2]
