hi I am seeking any information on portobello, i work with a man who emigrated to australia from portobello when he was young.he asked me to look on pc and try to find someinfo..havent found too much..wonder if any one has pics etc..his name is mc farlane.any feedback would be appreciated...thanks denise

I have a remote connection with Portobello. My Grandmother was born about 1890 . She grew up in Liljedal a place in Sweden where her father worked in the glassworks. Before she was born her family was allocated to Portobello for some time as they recruited Swedish Glassworkers who where very skilled. I visited the library in Portobello and found some information about the Swedish glassworkers. I would like to know if anybody knows anything about them or if maybe they left some trace maybe a child or a family that stayed on when the others returned to Sweden. anytyhing like that would be of interest. thanks SJ

User:81.154.95.163 added a link to http://portyrugby.com/ a number of times, which I reverted with the summary "reduce links" the first time, "rv link - WP:EL" the second and simply "rv" the third time. Wikipedia is not a mere collection of external links, it is not a web directory: WP:ISNOT, WP:EL.
