There is a question about the copyright status of this article. Although to the best of my knowledge (it was years ago), I did not copy the information in the original version, there are doubts about it. I have therefore rewritten the article at User:Zoe/Porto-Novo. Could someone look it over and let me know if it's good enough to replace what is here? User:Zoe|(talk) 15:12, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] petroleum

Petroleum is made in the refinery and it can't be "discovered". Probably oil was discovered, instead. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 85.206.119.141 (talk • contribs) 15:17, 20 June 2006.

Petroleum is crude oil, it is what is DISCOVERED and gasoline or petrol is what's made with it, among other things. Arthurian Legend 19:56, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Explanation

Can someone explain why Porto Novo remains the de jure capital if even political functions are carried out of Cotonou? Arthurian Legend 19:53, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Bevölkerungsentwicklung

What the heck is Bevölkerungsentwicklung and why is there a German word buried in this Franco-African article? Corvus cornixtalk 04:49, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
