[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Psulogo horiz spot.gif

Image:Psulogo horiz spot.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] COTW

Collaboration of the Week ideas, feel free to select one or do your own thing:

  1. Copy edit the existing prose.
  2. Expand the current articles in the PSU category.
  3. Find sources for existing unsourced items.
  4. Find missing alumni and faculty by clicking what links here and searching through and adding them to the proper categories.
  5. Create articles for likely notable topics such as:
  • Lincoln Hall (Portland State University) (formerly the HS)
  • Simon Benson House (NRHP) and likely easy DYK with its move
  • Portland State University College of Urban and Public Affairs (includes the Hatfield School of Government and I believe is nationally recognized)
  • Branford Price Millar Library done
  • History of Portland State University
  • South Park Blocks (not owned by the school, but a major campus feature)

To avoid duplication, please note any work you are planning on doing here (no need for two people to do the research on the Park Blocks). Thanks. Aboutmovies (talk) 11:02, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

I can fulfill any photo requests you folks might have. Just post 'em here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tedder (talkcontribs) 15:36, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
Thanks Tedder, how about the library and Benson House, I don't think we have pictures of those floating around. Aboutmovies (talk) 10:56, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
