[edit] Mid-engine

Why is the car tagged as "mid-engine" in the infobox? Isn't the bulk of the engine behind the rear axle? -- Mikeblas 04:24, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for fixing that, 24.39.103.200! -- Mikeblas 17:21, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Performance Data

Is it really correct that the 4 Cabriolet version is .3 seconds faster than the 4 Coupe version? If so, how come the Cabriolet version of both the standard and the 4S version are slower? Something is looking fishy. Sicking (talk) 13:43, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

There are many small errors in both HP (kW) ratings, 0-60 times, and top track speeds. I have fixed these for the Turbo S based on my owner's manual and Porsche's own site. Also, I've added a statement that "Both body styles [the 996 and the 997] were used in 2005, depending on model." The 996 bodies were still being sold by Porsche in 2005 as 2005 models [Turbo and Turbo S cars]. I'm just registered here and haven't figured out how to correct the same data in the sidebar. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Designergenes (talk • contribs) 04:51, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
