Perhaps this article should mention some other prominent residents like author Patricia Grace, or poet Sam Hunt? Also, I have lots of photos of Porirua and suburbs that I will happily license in a free way for Wikipedia. I'll see what I can dig up this weekend, since there seem to be no pics on here at all... I have added the suburb of 'Mana, New Zealand' and I realise that this might be contentious for some people. It is difficult to know how to deal with the historical 'what is now called Mana used to be called Paremata', or the current 'all the maps show Paremata to the south of the bridges and Mana to the north' but I think it is necessary to follow current usage, in this case, and to cover the history of these areas in the 'History' parts... Unfortunately this means that the Paremata & Mana, New Zealand articles are kind of messy at present and need cleanup. Karora 08:48, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

Apparently, the New Zealand supporters of the International Committee of the Fourth International are based in this city . . . 82.100.73.66 20:55, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

If I knew who those nameless people were, I could verify such a claim, but is it important? Certainly as someone who lives in Porirua there is no particularly obvious visibility. Karora 06:21, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Highest per-capita income?

I think that statement needs backing up (I've tagged it with citation-needed). I've done some research today on the Statistics NZ site, and the 2001 stats don't provide average income by territorial authority, while the 2006 census stats only seem to allow me to drill down to Region (Wellington Region comes out tops).
