Portuguese National Police Officers' Union

The Portuguese National Police Officers' Union (Portuguese: Sindicato Nacional da Polícia (SINAPOL) was created in 2004 and represents all the hierarchies of the Portuguese Public Security Police (PSP). It is an effective member of EUROCOP (the European Confederation of Police) since 2006. Its current president (since 2004, re-elected twice) is Armando Ferreira.
