Portland Aftermath!

Portland Aftermath! is a play by e-mail role-playing game (RPG). It is run by Shawn Cromett and set 20 years after the original 1981 Aftermath! RPG by Fantasy Games Unlimited. Its setting was created in a series of games played by Cromett and his friends in 1983, many of whose characters are featured prominently in the game's history. Since then, Cromett says that Portland Aftermath! has "taken a life of its own", becoming a collaboration of writers over the years.

In 2005, a small band of adventurers in post-apocalyptic Bayshore, Alaska found what later becomes known as the United Kingdom of America. They also encounter other powers including a newly reformed Roman Empire, Imperial Japan, and a vast Mongol Empire. The game year as of 2004 is September 2046.
