'Porsche 911T'
The Porsche 911T was introduced by Porsche in the 1967. Initially only available in Europe and targeting budget-conscious customers, the 911T offered a minimal interior specification and a 'down-tuned' 110HP 2.0 Litre, six Cylinder Flat Six engine (thru 1969). Top speed was approx 130 MPH with a 0-60 of 8.3s which still was not bad for the 1960s. The early models were short-wheel-based but from 1969, Porsche extended the wheelbase for improved handling and the 911T was subsequently available in a 2.2 litre version and in other regions around the world. Though the 'entry-level' 911 for many years, it was still an air-cooled 911 through-and-through. With '911S' models out of reach for most and good 911T's getting harder to find, prices continue to rise for this classic.
