Pornovurt are a 4-piece hard-rock band from London, comprising of Mikey (vocals), Robin (guitars), Nim (bass) and an as-yet unnamed drummer.

Signed to Popcult Records (a subsidiary of Coldspring Records) the band released their self-titled debut album in 2004. Featuring artwork by Dr A, the album cover also debuts the band's mascot Alice Dee, following the tradition of bands such as Iron Maiden and Megadeth.

The band's unusual name is a literary reference to one of the futuristic drugs in Jeff Noon's cyberpunk novel, "Vurt". In the novel, the Pornovurt is coloured pink, and provides a "doorway to bliss".
