POP TV is a private television network in Slovenia that began broadcasting on December 15, 1995. The station is known for broadcasting American TV series, such as Lost, Desperate Housewives, Prison Break, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, Monk, Without a Trace, Ugly Betty, House M.D. as well as Hollywood feature films. It's also known by Slovene TV series Naša mala klinika, TV Dober dan, Pod eno streho, Trafika, and Balkan Inc., which is also produced by Croats, Serbians and Bosniaks.

Domestic programming includes 24 ur (daily newscast), 24 ur popoldne (afternoon news), 24 ur zvečer (evening news), Športna scena (weekly sports review), Trenja (multi-guest talkshow) and Preverjeno (general interest informational pieces). The newscast personalities of POP TV are Matjaž Tanko, Petra Kerčmar, Edi Pucer, Darja Zgonc, Jani Muhič and Maja Sodja. POP TV's non-broadcasting activities include a Slovenian online media portal 24ur.com.

POP TV was supported from its outset by Central European Media Enterprises (CME), a Bermuda-based company specialising in Central and Eastern European television broadcasting.

In 2005, the broadcaster's parent company CME announced that POP TV was the most-watched television service in Slovenia with a 27% all-day audience share. This compares with an 9% share for the Kanal A operation, rated as Slovenia's fourth-place broadcaster. In 2004, the stations had 28% and 8% rating shares respectively.

POP TV received five awards at the Promax festival. The broadcaster's European 2005 Promax awards included Gold for Preverjeno in the Best News and Current Affairs Promo category, and Silver for Minority Report in the Best Promo Never Made It On Air category.
