[edit] 10 acres edit

I accidentally submitted an edit without comment (after several previews). (June 21, 2005 - fr:208.205.177.8). While noting that a previous mention of the surface area measure that defines a pond was deleted, I changed the wording and submitted similar. I did, however, add an explanation that there is not a universally accepted definition for when a pond is a lake or vice versa.

I have never heard of a 10 acre lake being referred to as a "Pond" before.

Try the St. Regis Pond in the Adirondacks-- it's 400-acres, and, incidentally, well over wading depth and it has an outlet. Mwanner | Talk 15:33, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
Just because it's named as a pond doesn't mean it is a pond. Herostratus (talk) 18:25, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Pond Armor

Why is pond armour there as a link? It dosen't seem to have any information in the site and seems to be nothing but advertising. Cheeetar (talk) 10:15, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

I'm going to delete it as it is a contribution by a user who has nothing but that edit. Cheeetar (talk) 10:54, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
