Pontedassio is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Imperia in the Italian region Liguria, located about 90 km southwest of Genoa and about 6 km north of Imperia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,159 and an area of 14.5 km².[1]
Pontedassio borders the following municipalities: Chiusanico, Chiusavecchia, Diano Arentino, Imperia, Lucinasco, and Vasia.
