Ponant

Ponant in french is an old navy word for west (in opposite to Levant). It may refer to:
- Ponant Islands, Atlantic and Channel french islands, off the coast of continental France
- Ponant fleet, the former Atlantic Fleet of the Royal French Navy
- Le Ponant, a french luxury sailing yacht which have suffered piracy off the coast of Somalia
