Photo of Pond Inlet in mid June of 2005 from Salmon Creek, 3.5 kms West of the Hamlet. The mountains are 25kms away and the iceberg is 9kms from town. The community's library (large white roof) and Health Center (large red roof) are the most predominent structures in the photo. The building with the white sidding, marroon colored roof that is closest to the shore is reminance of the Hudson's Bay Company from early in the 20th century. Snowmobiles and qamotiqs can still be seen on the sea ice.
