[edit] Purpose

Marking a specific sentence, phrase, text string, paragraph, or section within an article for cleanup, and time-stamping the tag. This template should be placed after the object that needs to be re-worked.

[edit] Usage

This template uses two parameters. The first, which specifies the object that needs to be re-worked, will default to "sentence" if no value is entered by the user. The second, which adds a time-stamp to the tag, will be omitted entirely if no value is provided by the user.

Where the object that needs re-working is a sentence and you do not want to add a time-stamp to the tag, you can simply type

{{re-work}}

Where the object that needs re-working is a paragraph and you do not want to add a time-stamp, you would type

{{re-work|paragraph}}

Where the object that needs re-working is a text string and you wish to add a time-stamp to the tag, you would type

{{re-work|text string|{{subst:TIMESTAMP}}}}

or you can type in the date yourself using any format you wish, for example

{{re-work|text string|18 February 2006}}
