Talk:Pollution of Ganga

[edit] Cleanup needed
Aside from citing almost nothing and effectively plugging the Sankat Mochan Foundation, this article sounds like an activist's personal appeal to the world:
An estimated 60,000 persons ritually bathe daily in the holy river. In spiritual and religious significance this river has no equal. While the Ganges may be considered holy, it is not pure.
This article needs a lot of work but deserves it, since it is an important topic. Ben Webber 05:02, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] References
I worked on it a little to make it less religious sounding, but we need references, they could easily be found all over the web if someone has time ( I do not, at the moment) :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Naomichanart (talk • contribs) 00:54, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
