[edit] Polish Merchant Navy

We can surely use at least a stub on the civilian navy. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 19:06, 28 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Task force

Until recently, when switched on, the Polish task force stub generated the comment that the article was supported by the "Polish military history task force" or similar, which included all the Polish armed forces. At present it generates "This article is supported by the historical task force of the Polish Army." which for an English would be taken as just Army, excluding Navy and Air Force. Is this correct, if so, I'll remove the tag from a number of articles that don't relate to the Polish Army. Folks at 137 18:49, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Screen door submarines

Perhaps they should be mentioned here. I've heard them discussed at length. --NEMT 16:21, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Polish Marines

There were some references to 7th Coastal Defense Brigade as the Polish marines. Unfortunately, this is not true. After disbanding the 7th Coastal Defense Division in 1989 and scrapping most of landing ships, there is no amphibious assault unit in the Polish Army. The 7th Coastal Defense Brigade only bears traditions of the 7th Division, and it practices small-scale experimental exercises with amphibious assault, but it's still not amphibious assault unit. At least up to 2007, there was no decision of creating a real amphibious assault unit in the Polish Army. Pibwl ←« 19:38, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
