Polygon Man was the former mascot for the Sony PlayStation in North America. He appeared in the consoles pre-launch ads commenting on various launch games. The character even enjoyed a limited run T-Shirt. However, the launch mascot was dropped before its North American launch in favor of Sofia, a video game character from the Toshinden series.
