The polkadot catshark, Scyliorhinus besnardi, is a cat shark of the family Scyliorhinidae found on the outer continental shelf off northern Uruguay between latitudes 31° S and 39° S, at depths of between 140 and 190 m. Its length is up to 47 m.
Reproduction is oviparous.
