Polish minority in Germany, or the Polish community in Germany, is the second largest Polonia in the world and the biggest in Europe, numbering about 2 million.[1] It is estimated that as many as three million people living in Germany may be of Polish descent, although the vast majority of them identify themselves as Germans. The main Polonia organization in Germany are Union of Poles in Germany and Congress of Polonia in Germany. Polish surnames are relatively common in Germany.
