Diplomatic and commercial relations between South Korea and Poland are a relatively new phenomenon. Relations between South Korea and Poland are primarily for the purpose of trade.

Korean electronics firms build factories in Poland where educated workers are abundant. Korean companies that produce their products in Poland include Daewoo, SK Corp., and Samsung. The high level of skill and low cost of labor make Poland a very attractive place for Korean businesses.

Poland is also a consumer of Korean networking technology and mobile communications technology.

Korea is an importer of Polish meats. Poland exports thousands of pounds of pork to Korea annually.
