Point Cook is a proposed railway station on the Werribee railway line in Melbourne, Victoria. The station is to be located west of Palmers Road in Point Cook, with construction requiring the slewing of the existing southern track to make room for the new platform.[1]
The station is to include:[1]
- a bus interchange
- car park and kiss-and-ride facilities
- island platform between the existing lines
- pedestrian and bicycle access.
The State Government is currently assessing the station's plans and facilities, with an outcome due in 2008, and the station proposed to be built between 2011 and 2016.[1]
