This is a documentation subpage for Template:PNG version available (see that page for the template itself).
It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This maintenance template is part of the Wikipedia project, not the encyclopedia proper. The tag automatically places images in Category:Images made obsolete by a PNG version.

A PNG version of this image is also available, and should be used in place of this image whenever possible.
If this is a fair-use image, please ensure the image has been replaced by the PNG version, and mark it for deletion by adding
{{subst:orfur|Image:Example.png}}
to this page.
