Deutsch: Oben: Zellkern eines menschlichen Fibroblasten, in dem alle 24 verschiedenen Chromosomen (1­ - 22, X und Y) per Fluoreszenz in situ Hybridisierung (FISH) mit einer unterschiedlichen Kombination von insgesamt 7 Fluorochromen angefärbt wurden. Gezeigt ist eine mittlere Ebene in einem deconvolvierten Bildstapel, der mit Weitfeld-Mikroskopie aufgenommen wurde.
Unten: Falschfarben-Darstellung aller Chromosomenterritorien, die in dieser Fokusebene sichtbar sind, nach Computer-Klassifikation.
English: Top: FISH (Fluorescence in situ hybridization) labeling of all 24 different human chromosomes (1 - ­22, X, and Y) in a fibroblast nucleus, each with a different combination of in total seven fluorochromes. Shown is a mid-plane of a deconvoluted image stack which was recorded by wide-field microscopy.
Bottom: False color representation of all chromosome territories visible in this mid-section after computer classification.
