During his club career he played for Feyenoord Rotterdam, Go Ahead Eagles, PSV Eindhoven, FC Eindhoven, NEC Nijmegen, and VVV Venlo. He earned 8 caps and scored 1 goal for the Netherlands national football team, and was part of the squad that finished as runners-up in the 1974 FIFA World Cup.
