Plectranthus rotundifolius is an herbaceous plant native to West Africa, now grown especially in South Asia and Southeast Asia as a leaf vegetable and a tuber vegetable.
Botanical synonyms include Solenostemon rotundifolius. Vernacular names include kembili, sambrali (in Kannada), Koorka (Kerala & Sri Lanka), ratala, Hausa potato, frafra potato, Sudan potato, coleus potato, Zulu potato, and Zulu round potato.
